Truman College in Chicago

There are many respectable community colleges in Chicago including Truman College Chicago, Harold Washington College and Kennedy-King College. 

Truman College Chicago was named in honor of U.S. President Harry S. Truman, and is a part of The City Colleges of Chicago.  It offers more than 200 academic programs including associate degrees, and certificates. The school is also accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  Some of the programs offered by Truman College Chicago include a Nursing Program, Automotive Technology Program, Cosmetology Program, and a Child Development Program.

College also offers credit classes towards the Associate’s degree, Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and the Associates of Applied Science. Tution fees for In-District Students is $89.00 per credit hour, for Out of District Students is $173.56 per credit hour, and for Out of State Students is $ 230.35 per credit hour.

The financial aid offices at Chicago City Colleges provide financial assistance in the form of grants and loans to help you make college affordable. Students are accepted on an open enrollment basis, and you can enroll full-time or part-time.

Apply online for a student ID and get registered in the (CCC)`s database, and then visit the college to finalize the admissions process.
